Welcome to the Break
Hang 10 in the Break, the worship area for students in 3rd to 5th grades. During each of our four services, students are checked in by our welcoming team of leaders. While waiting for the program to begin, students can play on any of the many video games including the Wii, cut/create/design at the craft corner, try their hand at the foosball table, test their skills on our Dance-Dance Revolution, or make a goal in air hockey. Our program includes rockin' worship music, with funky fun lights to get the students on their feet, praising God, and an interactive leadership team that uses Multi-media to share Christ with the kids in a relevant way.
Where do I go?
Park on the north side of the building, and head inside. Follow the large brown signs overhead to the gray registration desk to check in. Then head to the left, and surf into the Break!
What do I do?
If it's your first time, you'll complete a registration card and a temporary nametag. If you've already filled out a registration card, then you'll type in the last four numbers of your phone # and you'll recieve a two part printed name tag, one for the student and one for the parent or guardian of the student. Head to the left, and a trained leader will check the student into The Break and give the student Sand Dollars, which allows students to purchase items at our prize store at the end of each of our curriculum series. At the end of the service hour, you can pick up your student by presenting the nametag you received at the registration desk. *BE SURE TO PICK-UP YOUR "WAVE RUNNER"
What will I see?
After getting checked in by our friendly, trained staff, students in 3rd to 5th grades can hang out, play video games (including a Wii), create art at the craft corner, dance on the DDR, play foosball, air hockey, and Worship God in an arcade-like setting! Our program opens with praise music, followed by Bible lessons on DVD led by our MC. Students have the opportunity to interact with the fast pace curriculum, learn God’s word, and enjoy fun filled friendly competition with other students. Each student receives a take-home handout with three questions to review with their family at home, sharing what they’ve learned about Christ. Students can receive additional Sand Dollars by participating in Worship, interacting in the lesson, bringing a friend, memorizing scripture, and returning the student handout from the previous week.
* The Wave Runner is designed to help you reinforce with your kids what is being taught each week during the weekend services and give you helpful information about BA Kidz. On the back of each weekly Wave Runner, you will find the memory verse we are learning for that week, and a week’s worth of fun ideas and activities you can do as a family. We suggest that you keep the Wave Runner on your refrigerator, or on the kitchen table to remind your family to read it each day. We pray that through this your family will be energized, and your kids will learn to apply everything they are learning into their daily lives!
Part of our goal here at BA Kidz is to partner with you in the spiritual formation of your children.
